The brief
A tight, overlooked courtyard transformed into a private, layered outdoor room that draws the family outside year-round.
The challenge
Limited space, awkward levels and no privacy from neighbouring windows.
Our approach
We used changes in deck level to define zones, integrated planters and timber screening for privacy, and kept the palette warm and simple.
The outcome
A small footprint that now lives much larger — sheltered, green and genuinely usable.
