The brief
An infinity-edge pool terrace that frames the Hout Bay valley and harbour from a steep coastal plot.
The challenge
A dramatic but exposed and steeply sloping site, with the view as the non-negotiable hero.
Our approach
We engineered the deck and pool edge to read as a clean horizontal line against the bay, keeping all structure and fixings out of sight.
The outcome
A terrace where the deck, the water and the horizon all line up — and nothing gets in the way of the view.
